BIDDING ON LOTS NOVEMBER 1-30, 2024
On December 31, 2024 Turkey Mountain Estates #2 Property Owner’s Association will be dissolved. We are having a closed bid auction for the lots remaining that we own. The closed envelope bidding will be from November 1-30, 2024.
Please read the following conditions carefully as bids will only be reviewed for acceptance that comply.
- All bids must be on this bid form. ONLY ONE PARCEL PER BID FORM.
- All bids must be submitted via United States Postal Service to P.O. Box 286, Shell Knob, MO 65747; and postmarked between November 01, 2024, and November 30, 2024. Bid forms that are hand delivered or emailed will not be accepted. The TME2 POA will not be responsible for late or lost mail.
- The bids will be opened the first week of December, and the selected bidder will be announced as soon as possible, so please include a contact phone number.
- The property will be transferred via Quit Claim Deed to the successful bidder. It will be the bidder’s responsibility to obtain any title work at their own expense. Under no circumstance will the TME2 POA be responsible for any title work related to the transfer other than Quit Claim.
- Stone County property taxes for 2024 or prior WILL NOT be paid by the POA on bid properties under any circumstance. The successful bidder will be responsible for paying property tax prior to the 12/31/2024 deadline.
- Once the successful bidder is notified, payment for the property must be received within 15 days by way of bank certified funds or the property will be offered to the next highest bidder.

You can access “County Records” concerning any of the “lots” we have listed just by typing in the “property number” we provide on our “Tables” on the Map and Lot pages (i.e. 15-4.0-19-001-007-006). You can even view Turkey 2 via satellite imagery! Are these lots buildable and how can I find out? If they are not buildable, what are approved uses for it?

Are there any slips available if I were to buy home in Turkey Mountain Estates? Can a private dock be put in? Are there any empty buildable, walk down to water lake front lots available?
Do you have your association rules on the web? I do not have a copy. I am interested in the lot with the small cabin on it, garage, and shed. Is this approved by your rules? I presently own a lot on Keystone. I’m hoping to make it to your meeting in June.
